SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill Thursday making California the first state in the nation to add lessons about gays and lesbians to social studies classes in public schools.
Brown, a Democrat, signed the landmark bill requiring public schools to include the contributions of people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender in social studies curriculum.

Don’t be Bitter.
I learned a lesson last night- bitterness is very unappealing and unpleasant to be around. I understand it and I’m certainly not immune to it but I hereby swear to keep it to myself. WatchThe new season of Legend of Neil is out. Episode 3 just dropped today. I didn’t work on this season but the ridiculously talented Greg Aronowitz took over as production designer and, well, he makes me feel inadequate but grateful that someone with such skill stepped in. Check ‘em out.
